Inspiration for these objects came from my 3D stitching.
They develop organically, I have little control over the final form…which is what I love about them, they are a complete surprise when they are finished!
Then I look at it upside down and it’s a whole other surprise as they can look so different again! Depending on which side or angle you view them you can see all kinds of forms and creatures…or just a thread blob! If you let your imagination go you can even create your own creature!
I love the colour exploration too, each one different, some even change colour in daylight!
Made entirely from stitched thread. No darts and only a tiny seam to join the final stage together.
