Free motion embroidery on water soluble

Working only with water soluble fabric and a variety of threads learn how to create a variety of unique textures and embellishments with your sewing machine.
Using your sewing machines utility stitches and decorative stitches (if available) a unique texture can be created which can be used as a background or to embellish any textile project.
We will explore stitch direction and tension with Free motion machine embroidery on water soluble fabric, to create 2 and 3 Dimensional embroidery. Once the fabric is washed away you are left with unique forms of stitched embroidery.
Once you know the basic techniques the possibilities are endless. Inspiration is everywhere. Using the basic shapes they can easily be transferred to create any form which can be used to embellish garments, quilts, art cards, pillows, wall hangings etc.
